In the Bible, Habakkuk 3:11 says that the sun and moon stood still in place in the light of your arrows as they sped in the flash of your glittering spear.
In the Qur'an, verse 35:13 says that God subjected the sun and the moon to serve humans, and has disposed of the sun and moon, each one of them moves in its course, when a fixed term for the Day of Resurrection.

The meaning the verse:
Sun and Moon stopped in their tracks, your flashing arrows arrested, and you throw a ray impaled them.
In other words, the verse says the sun and moon stood still in her room in light of their arrows as they sped in the flash of your glittering spear.
Significantly, the Bible (Joshua 10) also says that the sun and the moon stood still for 24 hours to give Joshua the opportunity to kill thousands of children, girls, women, young and old.

Pickthal: he maketh the night into day, and maketh the day into night. Has subjected the sun and the moon service. each runs to a fixed term. Such is Allah, your Lord, His is the sovereignty, and Pray for those who own it rather than not enough white stain on a date-stone.
YUSUFALI: He merges Night days, and day into night, and has subjected the sun and moon (the law): each one follows its course to an appointed term. Such is Allah your Lord: belongs to the entire domain. and those whom you invoke besides him have no energy.

The meaning of the verse:
Allah makes the way of night, entering the day, so it gets longer, and it makes the day pass in the night, to be more long.
God subjected the sun and moon in the service of human beings. And He has set the sun and moon, each of them, moves in its course, to a fixed term, until the day of Resurrection.
That is Allah, your Lord, to Him belongs all sovereignty.
He is Allah, your Lord, that you do not, the deities;
His is the sovereignty, Warehouses of the universe
As for those whom you call, who worship Allah, in other words, instead of Him possess no even as much as the husk of a date stone.
In other words, those whom you pray, those whom you serve instead of Allah, are unable to possess all that even the white spot on a stone date, meaning that they have nothing.
